All Black Power Snack!

As you can tell, by the title, I was completely feeling my-ENTIRE-self in this outfit!!! This is one of my FAVORITE looks EVER!!! This “all black” thing was not always cute to me because it seemed so dark and plain. “I don’t know what to wear…. Guess I’ll just do black.” That’s where my mind was, so I would try to dress in more fun colors, until I realized the power of black! Boy, oh boy.

Black can to 1 of 2 things, make you look drab or make you look fab! Drab black outfits are frumpy, faded, worn, lost its shape, has the fuzz balls on them, ya know, just doesn’t look put together. Fab black outfits are chic, classic, makes a statement, well put together and POWERFUL! The key I found to fab black(and any other monochrome) dressing is TEXTURE! Cotton, leather, linen, vinyl, wool, patent, sequin, velvet, etc.!!! Wearing one color in different textures draws the eye to your look from head to toe. Its also an easy way to step out of your comfort zone, but not be uncomfortable!!
