Still Feeling Fall!

Good afternoon everyone!! Welcome back!! Today, I’ll be sharing something cute & quick!

So, as you can tell by the title of this post… I’M STILL FEELING FALL!!! Fall is my favorite time of year because the weather is amazing and the colors are absolutely stunning! I try to stay true to each season’s colors like, pastels in Spring, neon during the Summer, muted tones in the Fall and darker colors during Winter. For some reason, I am not feeling the darker colors for winter. Honestly, I have 2 possible reasons:

I live in the south and it’s 80 degrees out here! Dark colors would only make it hotter!
I really don’ feel like it lol

Yup, that pretty much sums it up. And until the weather cooperates or I have a change of heart, I will remain in Fall! Besides, how could I pass up these colors?? With that being said, lets get into this look!!

This look was a totally accident, but instantly became a favorite!

I was sort of rushing out of the house, found a clean shirt, some blue jeans and just threw everything else on.

On my way out, I look in the full length mirror, patted myself on the back and strutted out the door.

As I was rushing, and probably running late, I put my hair in a ponytail. A few moments later, I heard the pitter-patter of rain drops falling from the sky. I wasn’t walking outside with a bare head, so I knew I needed to protect it somehow. I looked in the my closet… Saw this wine colored hat… Put it on… End of story! (Forever21)

This wrap or rauna, was an impulse buy at Charming charlie. I mean, it is rust orange, enough said! Although it was sprinkling outside, the weather didn’t require a heavy coat or even a jacket! I already had on a long sleeve white top, all I needed was something light. This wrap aligned so well with the ensemble! It has tiny holes for a little breathing room and a beautiful sway in the wind as I walked!

For some reason olive green was my “color” for 2018. I did not purposely seek out olive colored clothing and accessories, but it somehow made its way into my closet. So, with the wind blowing and possibly stepping into puddles, I knew boots were the way to go, but which one? Honestly, I could say something like, “the wine colored hat and rust colored wrap were both warm colors and I wanted to mix it up with a cool color, but keep the muted tones of fall”, and that’s true, but they were right next to my bed… So, I put them on.
