My 2020 Thanksgiving Outfit

Hello fabulous people! Welcome back to Allyssa K. Lifestyle!

First things first, HAPPY BELATED THANKSGIVING! More importantly, what did you wear??? Pre-pandemic Thanksgiving Day was an event! I so enjoyed scrolling through Instagram and seeing all of the fall fashion looks! With this year being different and no one traveling (well, they shouldn’t be), we are all home and it feels like a Thanksgiving fashion show is unnecessary. LIES!!! I found a way to be comfortable and stylish!

Left – Sketch Right – Finished Product

So, I knew I wanted some long and flown but I didn’t want a dress and I ended up with this 3 piece set. The reason I choose flannel fabric is because I wanted to wear something comfortable and honestly… I just wanted something I could fall asleep in after I ate lol THAT’S THE TRUTH!

Tools

  • Sewing Machine
  • Dark brown thread
  • 1″ elastic
  • Straight pins
  • 6yds of brown flannel fabric
  • Patterns – Pants (Simplicity 8301), Top (Simplicity 8061), Duster (New Look 6536)

(Keep scrolling down to watch me make this outfit!)

What did you wear for Thanksgiving this year? Were you dressed up or chill? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks again for joining me!

Love & Peace

Allyssa K. Blair

  1. Yass!!! It was camouflage sweats for me! I made it look stylish by wearing some rose gold air max with my new Pandora rose gold jewelry! I wish I had pics 😕
